Found one of these nesting in my spuds last night. After a bit of a scrap with her, involving much hissing, pecking and flapping and moving it's eggs and nest to the next overgrown plot I eventually got my pint down the pub! If the eggs are still abandoned tonight I'm having a Pheasant Egg Omlette for tea!
